Strawberry / Raspberry Cold Pie

7 ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Jello

4 steps

  1. Mix cornstarch with sugar.
  2. Add water, corn syrup and salt, and cook until thick. Stir, and don't burn.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of jello (strawberry or raspberry), 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and a few drops of red food coloring.
  4. Cool, then put whole or sliced berries in baked pie shell and pour cool mixture over. Chill well.
