German Chocolate Cake Frosting

7 ingredients
- 1/2 pound Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Milk (evaporated)
- 3 Egg yolks
- 1 and 1/2 cup Coconut (shredded)
- 1 cup Pecans (chopped)

Combine evaporated milk, sugar, and vanilla in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick (~12 minutes)

Beat with mixer for five minutes.

Chill.

Add coconut and chopped pecans (or walnuts)
