Texas Sheet Cake

- 2 sticks Butter
- 1 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda

Preheat oven to 375 F.

In a 3 quart saucepan, bring to boil butter, water and cocoa.

Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt.

Beat in eggs, add sour cream and baking soda.

Pour into 18x12" pan.

Bake at 375 for 22 to 25 minutes.

While cake is in the oven, make icing as follows.

Bring 1 stick butter, 1/4 cup cocoa, and 1/3 cup milk to a boil.

Take off heat and add 1 cup chopped nuts, 1 pound powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Spread icing on cake while hot.
