Egg Nog

8 ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 12 Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 quarts Milk (1%)
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 sprinkle Nutmeg
  • 1 cup Brandy

4 steps

  1. Beat eggs with sugar and salt
  2. Stir in half of the milk
  3. Heat slowly for 20 to 25 mins until thickened (~170F). Don't boil.
  4. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and chill.
