Banana, Walnut, And Chocolate Chip Fritters

- 1 cup Chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (ground)
- 1 cup Walnut (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 cups Beer
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Baking powder
- 1 Egg
- 6 tablespoons Light brown sugar
- 1 pound Bananas (ripe)
- 1 and 1/2 cup Flour
Heat oil to 350 F. Preheat oven to 325 F.
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Peel the bananas and smash them until nice and gloppy (should be about 1 cup).
In another bowl, whisk the beer, egg, and lemon juice. Pour over bananas and combine thoroughly.
Add the bananas and beer mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until somewhat smooth.
Stir in the walnuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by large spoonfuls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, turning once (about 1 minute per side).
Once fried, transfer to a baking sheet lined with paper towels. Once they're all ready, bake for 10-12 minutes.
Roll in cinnamon sugar or glaze.
