7 ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 6 Chicken breasts
- 1 brick Mozzarella
- 1/2 cup Milk
- Vegetable oils
- 1 jar Marinara sauce
- Seasoned bread crumbs
8 steps
-
Preheat oven to 350 F.
-
Put the chicken breasts between two layers of wax paper and flog with a rolling pin until they become somewhat flatter (1/2" to 3/4" thick)
-
Take this abused chicken with no tail feathers left to speak of, and dip into a mixture of milk and egg whisked together.
-
Dip it into the mil egg mixture then flop it around in the bread crumbs until it's covered.
-
Take these lovely specimens and brown them in a pan with a bit of vegetable oil in the bottom.
-
Once browned, put them into a casserole dish.
-
Cover each piece of chicken with some slices of mozzarella, then pour pasta sauce on top - feel free to sprinkle this with a little oregano - than put some more mozzarella on the whole thing.
-
Cook at 350 F for 25-30 minutes ... it's yummy!
